Monday, 5/16 - Book club meeting tomorrow. You should have your book club book, you should have read your assigned pages, and you must have your book club form filled out.
Tuesday, 5/17 - By Thursday you should have your introduction, first body paragraph and second body paragraph completed. Make sure that you are using the checklist as you write. We don't have class tomorrow. I will check that this is completed at 8am on Thursday morning.
Thursday, 5/19 - If you didn't turn in your essay in class today, please turn it in tomorrow. Come in at 8am if you need to print it. Last book club form due tomorrow. I will collect the forms.

Wednesday, May 11 - Book club meeting tomorrow. Read, have book in class, have book club form completed.
Thursday, May 12 - Study for quiz tomorrow on plurals, possessives, and plural possessives. Study your notes, your pink flip chart and your practice worksheets. The quiz will look just like the practice worksheet that we did in class on Wednesday.
Friday, May 13 - Next book club meeting is on Tuesday, May 17. Read and prepare.
Monday, 5/2 - Tomorrow in class you will be writing an essay about your book club book. You will need to provide evidence from the book to support your points. Therefore, you'll need your book in class. There will be a choice of three essay questions. To prepare, you could think about the theme of your book, or about what characters change and how they change, or about the rising action, climax and resolution of your book. You could put post-its in your book to mark important parts.
Tuesday, 5/3 - Read the article on real Utopias. Write out your answers to the questions in complete sentences, on a separate sheet of paper. You may type them or hand write them.
Wednesday, 5/4 - Read for first book club and work on book club form. First book club meeting is Friday. You will have about 30 minutes to read in class tomorrow.
Thursday, 5/5 - First book club meeting is tomorrow. To be prepared for class you must: have read all of your assigned pages, completed the book club discussion form, have your book in class for the meeting.
Friday, 5/6 - Continue reading for book club schedule. If you want to work on book club form over the weekend, you can find a copy of the form on the Weebly under Grade 7 Class Documents.
